Flame custom electric guitar
Here are some pictures and details of a recently completed Flame custom electric guitar.
This Flame custom electric guitar was commissioned by Andrew, who lives in Sheffield. The full specification for this guitar took several months to finalise and we did this using Zoom calls and email.
This guitar contains a lot of nice detailing and was a pleasure to make. As you can see it is a through-neck guitar. The neck is constructed using seven pieces of walnut and maple. This was also the first time that I had been asked to build a drop-top guitar ( a guitar with a forarm contour) This is a straightforward process on a solid wood body but is more challenging on a guitar that has a boding facing. But I was very happy with how that part of the build turned out.
Hardware for this custom electric guitar included Bare Knuckle True Grit pickups and Graphtech Ratio locking tuners
