London International Guitar Show, Kempton Park
Just a reminder that that the London International Guitar Show takes place this Sunday, 28th October, at Kempton Park racecourse. Doors open at 10am. £10 entry price and free parking.
160 exhibitors and live music from Thomas Blug, Aziz Ibrahim and the Phil Harris Band
This is the 3rd year for this show and it is the 3rd time I have exhibited at the show. This year the organisers have stipulated that for the first 10 minutes in every 30 guitars can be played at a reasonable volume level through an amp, but that after that at “acoustic” level only.
This should help to control the overall volume level and make conversations between exhibitors and visitors easier. I will be bringing headphones so that visitors can play my guitars and properly hear them. That said, there is no substitute for playing a guitar through a decent amp! But equally many people are self-conscious about playing a guitar at a show with other listening.
If you are coming to the London International Guitar Show come to my stand and say “hello”. Have a play of the guitars I will be exhibiting. You may also want to take the opportunity to chat over any work you need or are planning to have done on any of your guitars.
