Body

The F1 and F4 Flame Guitar models are constructed with hollow chambers. This reduces the weight of the guitar, making it lighter to handle, and hollow chambers also make for a more alive and responsive tone. If you would prefer your Flame Guitar to be composed with a solid body, that is an option available too upon request. Alternatively, the F2 model is constructed with a solid swamp ash body as standard and the F5 is constructed with an Ash body. Most models allow for book matched tops too to complete the look.

You will see that I love building guitars using exotic, hardwood tops; such imbuya, bocote, bubinga and walnut. But my stock of tops changes all the time depending on availability and what catches my eye when I visit my supplier, Dave Dyke Luthier Supplies (whom I have been using for 30 years, now)
